This is Julie from Crafty Beach on YouTube and I’ve a Dollar Tree Spring Fairy Garden DIY. We’re going to start with one of these little roller trays that go underneath the flower pots that you can get from the Dollar Tree. These make great fairy garden trays because you can move them around. They’re really nice size and they even have wheels on the bottom. Mine was green and I wanted to give a little punch of color to mine. So, I went ahead and painted mine like an aqua color to kind of match this little garden gnome that I got from the Dollar Tree and I really wanted to be like exactly the same color as him. So I went ahead and painted his little hat too just to kind of make him match this. I’m going to do a little fairy garden for him. So I guess not really a fairy garden. Maybe a little gnome or gonk garden. And I wanted to do like a turquoise and salmon color combo. So even though this was kind of a boring hunter green color. I’m going to make it look really pretty for spring by just painting the outside and a the lip there of the flower pot with that salmon color but with the turquoise on the inside and it gives it like really a two-tone effect which is really fun I think and then I’m just going to start my fairy garden just by using some potting soil I had some potting soil that I could recycle out of this flower pot so you’re not really going to be able to see it so I’m just going to go ahead and use that. The great thing about the flower pots too is that you can get them with drainage or you can poke some holes in the bottom if you’re going to be putting putting them out in your landscaping and then for the grass, I like to do the grassy areas with some of the reindeer moss from the Dollar Tree and Fairy Gardens are so fun to make. You can do trays like this. You can get the little ones involved. Really fun. There is so many items from the Dollar Tree. This one is like one of the like little mushroom houses from the Dollar Tree and it’s not one of those colors that I was using but I think it goes well together with them. It is just the green little mushroom house and this year, they even have some with like moss growing on the rough of them. So many cute ones and then I got some of the mushrooms to grow in the garden, some little spotted mushrooms and then these are from the Crafter Square. These are the wood slices. These make perfect little stepping stones going to your house. You can make a little path there in the potting soil. You can also use the wood stems from the Dollar Tree. They would give you kind of the same effect and I just add my little ceramic gnome and my giant mushrooms all around. You can different zones with like stones and different items like that. They have so many fun items like this to decorate with from the Dollar Tree. You could do a sandy area. You could do some of the blue pebbles and have a little water feature if you’d like and I think I’m just going to break up some of the reindeer moss there with just some of the white stones and these are the wood stems that I was talking about from the Dollar Tree. They come in different diameters like these are the skinnier ones but you can get them a lot wider too to kind of do the stepping stone path and we can have like a pile of sticks. You can add whatever greenery you have. This is a great way to get rid of some of your extra greenery that you have left over from projects. I did like ferns because I wanted to look really fun and wild but also fun for spring. So, I did a lot of the baby’s breath flowers from the Dollar Tree and cute little items like that.
