There is a cork at the bottom Each piece is carefully handmade to order. Due to the handmade production of these items, there may be subtle differences in color and pattern, as well as minor imperfections such as air bubbles. The full set comes with 4 cork backed round coasters with color-matching holder. Care: clean them with a soft cloth and mild soap. Heavy dirt, such as tea and coffee, should be wiped off immediately, as these items may be discolored. They are not dishwasher or microwave safe.
