25K views · 2.2K reactions | Turning my plain hallway ✨dreamy✨—here’s how I did it: ✔ Grabbed beadboard from @loweshomeimprovement—such a timeless way to add character without overwhelming a space ✔ Used my circular saw + guide for straight, precise cuts (tip: insulation board makes a great cutting surface!) ✔ Nailed the beadboard to the wall—no glue needed! This keeps the drywall damage-free if I ever want to remove it ✔ Built the railing detail using 4”trim + layered moulding for extra charm. ✔ Filled, caulked, sanded, and painted. If you’ve been here a while, you know that I’ve had the runabouts with either going dark and moody or light and bright in this area.
